Erasmus+ is the 2014-2020 EU's funding programme for education, training, youth and sport. With a budget of €14.7 billion over 7 years, the programme has seen a 40% increase compared to the previous programming period. The programme supports the modernisation of Europe's education, training and youth systems while improving students' skills, employment prospects and their active participation in society. Funding is provided for cooperation in all these areas, both among European countries and between European countries and the other countries of the world.
This session will focus on the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme to the Higher Education institutions, students and staff from countries outside the European Union to come to study and teach in Europe. An overview of the four actions of the E+ international dimension will be provided, including:
• International Credit Mobility
• Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD)
• Capacity Building
• Jean Monnet
The session will be will be also supported by testimonials of E+ projects' coordinators.
