As the world faces an unprecedented refugee crisis, with over 59 millions displaced populations for reasons that range from economic, climatic to political disasters, universities and higher education institutions accross the globe must adapt to a new reality and to unplanned publics by adopting creative and out of the box solutions to tend to the needs of refugees of all kinds.
It is the responsibility of Higher Education to find new ways to be one of the links in a human chain of knowledge.
Université Grenoble Alpes through its different components and departments has taken on this challenge and offers its reflection on this process. This case study is only one among the network of world universities that will face their responsibilities.
