Increasing the innovation culture of HEI and the connection with Enterprises/Organizations (E/O) with impact in Employability by implementing multidisciplinary projects/internships(MP/I) for co-creation, co-development and acceleration of innovative ideas, integrated in the educative project of the involved institutions, by means of students' teams involving students with different backgounds, different graduation levels, and from different countries, and solving challenges posed by E/O. This is the wider objective of a new project connecting partners of several existing networks.

A Network of networks connecting the new trends of innovation available in Europe, namely in Portugal, Finland, and Spain, with some Federal Institutes of Brazil, and partners from Chile and Uruguay is the challenge posed by LAPASSION project (Latin-America Practices and Soft Skills for an Innovation Oriented Network).

LAPASSION envisages the development of MP/I characterized by:
- projects presented by the surrounding environment (enterprises and other organizations E/O) or resulting from innovative ideas to create new prototypes/products/services
- projects developed by multidisciplinary groups of students, involving at least 3 different knowledge domains (Technology, Design, Arts, Administration, Health, Education, etc)
- projects developed by groups of students from different countries (multiculturalism, language, etc)
- projects oriented for developing soft skills (teamwork, leadership, conflict management, negotiation, etc)
- projects for which students demonstrate passion, going from PBL – Project Based Learning to Passion Based Learning.
