Can The Science Without Borders program change the Brazilian higher education%3F The Alumni Opinion

The My CsF project, realized a research with Science Without Borders' alumni asking them "How can your experience abroad change your university%3F What was best in your Brazilian institution%3F And in your host institution%3F What is the difference regarding infrastructure, class quality and relationship between students and professors%3F" Among other interesting questions.

More than 5 thousands students participated. The results show the Brazilian colleagues relevant data about small and big changes that they can implement in order to make university a better place according to students' opinion.

The main lesson from this study is that there is no magic recipe: what Science Without Borders' students brings to Brazil in their way back is a precious collection of “good practices” that are possible to be implemented. Each institution needs to have an open dialogue between professors, students and faculty members to discuss what policies are suitable or not to their reality.
