In 2015, more than one million refugees arrived in the EU, many of them qualified and eager to access higher education. How can universities and research institutions deal with the challenge of integrating refugees%3F This panel aims to outline EU financed-measures and show specific examples and developments from Germany and the UK, within both national contexts, around engaging refugees in the European Higher Education Sector. During the discussion and presentation, participants and panelists will be engaged in elaborating some of the lessons learnt from 2015 and possible steps for the future.
