Developing Leadership in the Implementation of COIL and Virtual Exchange Internationalization Initiatives

 Technology can support meaningful international interactions between university students who cannot study abroad, enhance the experience of short-term study abroad participants, and bring diverse cultural perspectives to domestic students. This workshop will first provide an overview to the COIL model and its practices, and then will take SIOs, academic leaders, staff and instructors through a design process, exploring possible pathways to their own COIL curricular internationalization development.
