"Oi, tudo bem%3F" Getting into Negotiation Culture with Brazilian Universities

The session has a phenomenological approach to
negotiation contexts with Brazilian higher education
institutions: due to the exponential proliferation of information, content is
not simply transmitted, but generated and healed by
the participants. My proposal is to transmit a general overview of Brazil, it's higher education system, and focus on Cultural Determinants that make Brazilians the way we are. People new to Brazil would benefit the most from this session, but it is also open to Brazilians and foreigners used to Brazil, as their contribution will enrich the debate.

OBJECTIVES

(1) PREPARE PARTICIPANTS FOR THE BRAZILIAN
WAY OF NEGOTIATING: Discuss ways of communication that foster the
emergence of new partnerships with Brazilian universities, creating solutions and strategies in organizational
environments, with focus in Brazil and its negotiating
culture.

(2) ENHANCE TEAMWORK: Provide tools to expand the potential, cohesion and synergy of multicultural teams through approaches of smart, effective and empathic communication,
strengthening the organizational culture.

(3) ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP: Expand the creative capacity of leaders and managers in Higher Education to transform conflicts into opportunities, strengthening the unity and purpose of the team as well as their productivity.

(4) INCREASE CAPACITY TO GATHER SUPPORT: Promote the building of trustful relationships in which there is more willingness for cooperation and support.
